DREAMS

These dreams,
That weigh on my heart
That awaken me with a start
Because they bear
a vivid semblance
To reality

They dog my conscience
Nipping at my conscious
Clawing at my sanity
Like ghosts in the dark
I feel them skulk
Though only I
Can feel their omnipresence
