HOPE

She came to us at dusk,
The furthest were from dawn,
She broke through the dark
From her a light shone
She made hope her path
And beside all arose

She warmed the heart
And gave it purpose to grow,
She thawed the soul
And gave it strength to move on
They named her hope
As hope was her.

She made things better,
And smiles shone brighter
Challenges got lighter
In her, we found shelter
Despair was scattered
With her we bolstered

She came to us at dusk,
The furthest we could be from dawn
She gave us hope
For hope was what she was called.
